书中的第二世，短暂却很好地诠释使命。作为一只名叫“爱莉”的警犬，每一次都帮训导员很出色地完成了任务，却又是如此之聪明，从一张照片中，能很好地分析出主人的情感，而在第二天，为了救主人而英勇牺牲。狗有时又能完成一些人类很难完成的事情。无论你对它好坏，只要给它一个家，它能一直跟着你。

墙上挂着一幅名画的照片——《清明上河图》，据说这画在世界上独一无二！画面景色迷人，充满了春天勃勃的生机和都市气息，真是令人陶醉。
画卷以一片春风和煦的田园风景为开端，农夫在辛勤的耕地，几个小贩赶着毛驴匆匆而来。中间是一座宏伟木质拱桥宛如飞虹，横跨河面以拱桥为中心形成了全图的高潮。一艘大船逆流而上，想要过桥，不想它高高的桅杆被桥头挡住了。船上的人有的七手八脚忙着收杆，有的奋力划桨。有的干着急。桥上挤满了热心观众，帮着出主意。桥上、船上的人都急得像热锅上的蚂蚁，不知所措。
再往后看，桥上人声鼎沸，热闹非凡。两岸挤满小贩，店铺林立，百业兴旺。桥上一人骑着马和一小轿相遇，旁边有人在看热闹，一人赶着一驴车慢悠悠的走着，摇头晃脑，漫不经心，缆绳也晃悠着，看到的人顿时大笑起来。旁边的小茶馆里，有的闲谈，有的临窗眺望，好不闲适。
